Research Interests

Dr. Bagner conducts research on the development and examination of parenting interventions for behavior problems in early childhood. He has a specific interest in vulnerabilities placing families with very young children at highest risk for mental health problems and has focused his research on adapting and testing interventions for those populations. Dr. Bagner is the author of over 50 peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters and has been funded for the past 10 years by the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development and the National Institute of Mental Health to conduct his research.
